Why Aren’t You Steve Jobs?
What left with us when life ends?
When Steve Jobs designed the iPhone, he got rid of all keyboards but a button. Likewise, Tang Shu-wing kept only seven chairs and actors during the process of creating Titus 2.0. One wonders how Why Aren’t We Steve Jobs? looks in theatre.
Three years into studying Steve Jobs, Tang puts modern people under microscope, looking into their visionless and purposeless lives in his latest production.
One yoga class connects four Hongkongers with their own desires and conflicting interests, who look to cleanse their souls or live lives with creative sparks. Or don’t they? How would Steve Jobs solve their puzzled minds with his extraordinary imagination and creativity if he were still here?
